Whatsapp maybe currently the most used tool online today. I think Whatsapp leads in having conversations with anybody and everybody! 🙂 There are innumerable number of Whatsapp groups alive on our phone. There are multiple family groups, friend groups, occasion groups and a huge number of forgotten groups as well! Whatsapp has grown with us and it has changed for the better in a lot of ways. I do like the privacy and the newly added features that have been in existence for the since August 2022. These are some features that I particularly like :
- If you are the admin of a Whatsapp Group, group settings have become truly amazing
a. As an admin, you can decide who can change the group’s subject, icon and description.
b. As an admin you can also decide whether you want to send messages to other admins only or to everybody
c. As an admin you can also decide if all admins must approve when someone wants to join a group
2. Privacy features
a. Messages and videos can be shared with groups and they can be set ‘View Once’ mode. This feature was already available but now nobody can take a screen shot of the image too…which IMHO, is a fantastic thing to do(it is definitely a very creepy feeling when personal pictures intended for a group travel outside a group!)
b. You can also decide who can add you to the myriad number of Whatsapp groups that pop up!
c. You can also leave groups silently without the whole group knowing you left it(and wondering why they left it so suddenly!!) The group admins will be notified that you left the group though.
