The world today is a much more expressive place than what it was 20 years ago. Social media has gained traction and more people are expressing themselves online and offline. There were no clubs or organizations to promote public speaking years ago. But today organizations such as ‘Toastmasters International’ have their clubs in different colleges and organizations which give guidance on how to give good speeches in front of a small/large audience with more confidence. From Toastmaster International’s site, by joining a Toastmaster you will learn to:

- express yourself better

By joining a Toastmasters International club, you will learn good and successful ways to give an effective speech to this mobile distracted generation.

There is a 60$ fee semi-annual fee to join it.
PS: I am not part of any Toastmasters International, but my daughter is! I have seen a huge transformation in her ever since she joined it. I see amazing speeches by the young set of college students and it is amazing to see the transformation that a club can bring.
