Who talks more?

….Men or Women? 🙂 Yes – I know, I know –  the answer seems to be pretty obvious about who is more loquacious but still it piqued my interest to write about it… 🙂 However, it is to be noted – that there is no scientific reasoning behind my blog post – just  some honest observations around my world!! 🙂
In my universe, “the fair gender” is the one who has to more to say at all times! (I am sure there are a few exceptions to this rule – though I would find it hard to believe that!! :)) We,women  have a lot to say,express, state, discuss, rant, gossip, agree, disagree on a variety of topics about almost everything in the world! 😉 which, is a good thing as effective communication is the key to success, I would say…There is a great deal of pleasure women derive from just talking and sharing ideas… 🙂


Why do we talk more?
Well, it is almost a reflex action for most of us from a young age and we do it with ease. According to some statistics, women talk about 20,000 words a day while men talk only 7,000 words a day !! (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2281891/Women-really-talk-men-13-000-words-day-precise.html) Yes – you saw that right, we women talk about 13,000 words more than men and that is not hard to believe for most of us. Plus, when we have so many “avid listeners” around us, why should we even stop without saying the whole thing?! 🙂
On the other hand, men do not seem to talk as much because;

1. They seem to not know “what to say and how to say it” – especially personal issues! Either men agree with everything that their women have to say(to keep the problem short!! :)) or they just don’t have much to say.
2. They “don’t think that much” about all the issues or
3. They “don’t have the time” to think about so many issues or
4. any other reason!! 🙂

So, cheers to all the women to like to talk away and make the world a better place! 🙂 Hope our tribe increases…
