Very Twitter! :)

May be out of all the social media platforms that I truly like is “Twitter”. Why? – because there is no family around.. 😉 😉 Seriously though, I feel like everybody can be themself on Twitter. Along with personal and professional achievements….there are other normal human thoughts and feelings that can be expressed on Twitter – after all, there is more to us than a personal and professional life know? 🙂

When Twitter’s take over by Elon Musk made headlines in my news feed this morning, I thought I had to write about it !! 🙂

Here is what I gathered:

1. Unless you are living behind a huge rock, you will be knowing that Elon Musk has agreed to buy Twitter for $44 billion dollars
2. Elon Musk is known for co-founding Tesla, revolutionizing space travel and taking over Twitter now! 🙂
3. Twitter is a huge social media platform where influencers, politicians and everybody else on the planet voice their opinions in a 180 character range(you can extend your opinions by extending the thread)
4. The sale is expected to be completed by the end of this year
5. The sale has been approved by Twitter’s board and is still subject to a vote by Twitter’s shareholders and other approvals
6. Twitter has been fun for me since I can blurt anything I want to… 🙂 from InfoSec to Java to personal thoughts on certifications, advices, thoughts – I can just say anything on Twitter!! 🙂 (of course, safely! :))
7. Twitter does tend to get inflamed and fake news spreads rapidly too
8. Hashtags work brilliantly on Twitter than any other platform.
9. What will the sale mean for the future of Twitter? Nobody knows! 🙂
10. But as of now, Musk has stated that Twitter will all be about “free speech”
11. He has also stated that Twitter algorithms will become open source and all humans will be authenticated.
