Which do you like better? 🙂 As most us are aware, Facebook is a huge social media platform primarily used for networking with friends and family! It is of course universally known and 99% of the world’s population might have an account with it! 🙂 (of course, there will be exceptions – but you get the point… :)) Many people I personally know love it and give all their life’s details to it! 😉

Quora, if anybody is unaware – is a question and answer platform. Users can post questions and request answers from anybody. Users can state that they are experts in any field and pick questions to answer too. There can be multiple answers to a question and the answers can be upvoted or downvoted or shared with other users.

Facebook vs Quora:

Though the platform for sharing photos and news with family and friends is fun and exciting – my Information security brain is always wondering what might happen next!

It is for this reason – I prefer to write and write answers for the multitude of questions that pop up on my Quora feed. Many questions actually force me to think and I do learn a lot about Information security and other topics through the various questions and answers on Quora!

So, which one do you like? Why?

  1. Quora to me is used mostly for information gathering whereas Facebook is just chilling out app. I use quora more seriously than Facebook.
