Who am I? What do I like to do? Read more in this fun post 🙂
Hello! I am Jayanthi….I have written about so many people in my family(husband, son, daughter, mother, father) but I have not written much about myself…
So, here goes…
I am a mother, wife, daughter and really have fun being a mother to two grown kids(22,17) I was working as a trainer in Java, Oracle and other technologies many years ago before the writing bug bit me. I definitely love technology and writing about it. I have been writing technical blogs since 2012 and I have never once run short of ideas(touch wood! :)) I am always thankful to the ever changing tech world to keep my pen flowing… 😉
Do l look good in this picture? 🙂
Apart from my regular banter about my writing journey, here are a few more tidbits about me:
- I love to have a good group of family and friends(sometimes, I wonder how I survived in cold places in US with minimal human interactions)
- I can talk to anybody up or down my age(but please don’t bring the age factor in :))
- I barely like to cook…but appreciate anybody who spends hours in the kitchen to whip up a meal…cooking is a highly under rated skill. Apart from that I am not a food critic either…(ahem! :))
- I walk 365 days a year and do it everyday without fail(I go for a walk in the rain also holding an umbrella just like my father :))
- I like to swim too and had an amazing experience learning to swim 10 years ago. In fact, me and my son did swim together pre-covid days…
- I like to play most sports but avoid the gym totally 🙂
- I am a neutral person when it comes to food. I am not particularly fond of any type of cuisine, though food from Tamil Nadu is always home.
- I can appreciate anything that is tasty(like my mother’s cooking!) across all cuisines. I do like sushi, tacos, tortilla and the ever great dosa!
- I am a great devotee of Lord Hanuman and Lord Rama(it is good to say it on the auspicious day of Rama Navami) and a very religious person.
- Though I am from Tamil Nadu, I can read, write and speak Hindi since my father was in a transferable job and we were forced to learn new languages. I also learnt Marathi, French and Kannada too. My Kannada knowledge is getting better but not completely there as yet. It is still a WIP! 🙂
Hope you had fun reading about me! Hope you have a wonderful day!
This post is for alphabet ‘J’ for #BlogchatterA2Z2024
Good. It is the time to kick start AI to impersonate and scam you 🙂
Jokes apart – ‘I go for a walk in the rain also holding an umbrella just like my father’ – This single line is enough; a visual unfolded in my mind.
🤠will delete the post once A2Z gets over! 😄
