Iced Coffee vs Hot Coffee!

Listen to this article

Even as I promised myself, I will be doing only technical posts on this blog, the 13 year old daughter insists that I write something that she would understand! 😉 So, for her and everybody else who is looking forward to reading non-technical posts, here goes 🙂

Iced Coffee or Hot Coffee – which do you prefer?

Coffee or Tea – is a post I wrote long ago… I slowly and steadily gravitated towards the wonderful smell of coffee in the morning as the years went by… but which did I prefer – cold or hot? Let’s read on…

Iced Coffee:

Summer is slowly setting in our part of the world and the wonderful taste of cold coffee is absolutely amazing! When the cold milk with ice cubes meets the coffee decoction and sugar, it is quite a coffee nirvana in the summer months! (And to it add all other additions like whipped cream et al!! :)And today, the humble cold coffee has undergone yet another transformation to become the current rage ‘Dalgona Coffee’. We in our house are all in love with this latest creation of Iced Coffee!! 🙂

Hot Coffee:

Being from Tamil Nadu – South Indian ‘Filter Coffee’ is called ‘Coffee’ and no other coffee is considered as Coffee!! 🙂 🙂 Summer or winter, purists from Tamil Nadu, consider filter coffee as’the only coffee’ in the world and no other coffee variants come near it!! 🙂 I am not much of a picky eater or drinker, but a good South Indian filter coffee is delish and nothing ever comes close to it! 🙂

But I might prefer the hot coffee variants in the winter months and relish the iced coffee variants in the summer months!

What about you? What is your favorite? Does your coffee have to be ‘Iced’ or ‘Hot’? 🙂

This post is for my cold coffee loving daughter!! 🙂 The previous post can be found here.

Stay home and stay safe!

  1. I love filer coffee over instant one. Dalgona coffee I am seeing a lot these days. yet to give it a try. but it does look tempting…

  2. I have always been a cold coffee lover. Its only since last year with nodes in my throat, I have had to shift to hot coffee. Now I am a both Hot and Cold Coffee Lover.
