Artificial intelligence and ChatGPT made their foray into the world in November 2022 sending the entire world into a happy tizzy! 🙂 ChatGPT and AI puzzled everyone with only two thoughts – how to make use of it and wondering if their jobs will be displaced!

ChatGPT is the AI chatbot that answers questions in a conversational way. From writing poems, stories and code, ChatGPT can do a lot. ChatGPT and AI is still a work in progress and it is still prone to errors as it still learning from us(and it will continue to do so)

My blog and ChatGPT:

Content writers, fiction writers, technical writers were the first ones who thought their jobs will be displaced. But I didn’t see any of my writing buddies stop writing because of this. In fact, I think most of us just looked at ChatGPT’s writing and went back to our own writing(ha, ha) After all, ChatGPT is learning from our writing only, right? 🙂

Now coming to my blog – after the advent of ChatGPT, did my blog stats drop? Nope…in fact, it has been the same. I still feel people Google for many things and Google searches do come to my blog… 🙂

There are other reasons why blogs are still living in AI age:

1. The creativity in human beings can never be tarnished – ChatGPT or not – people will continue to write, draw, and create other content in this social media age
2. Remember, I mentioned that it was a sham that writing takes so much time and reading so little time? Well, we can write and write in this AI age since the consumption of writing is so high. Thank goodness that it takes so little time to read… 😉
3. Nobody knows the future and definitely not the future of tech, but there is a possibility that AI will change things around without us even noticing. But for now, blogs continue to live and we continue to blog! 🙂
