2025 has rolled away and the year 2026 has been ushered with the usual pomp and happiness. While, I always keep track of my blog analytics, I have rarely put a blog summary of my blog.
Here goes, a summary of my blog – blogtech.online for the year 2025:
2025 Review:
It looks like I have almost written one post every week for the year 2025, but in reality, the bulk of those posts were in the month of April! (face palm!) And the majority of the posts were written for Blogchatter’s campaigns.

While, the traffic on my blog is very calm and relaxed, I could see it spiking on May 18th, 2025. Clearly, it was not organic traffic and my little blog was getting hit with unusual and dangerous traffic that could have brought down my entire blog!
What did I do?
I thought a lot(of course, I was an InfoSec professional who had studied a lot about all these things) and put my blog in ‘Maintenance mode’. I was not running a business, so I could afford to do it. However, I could not keep it in ‘Maintenance mode’ forever. I quickly reached out to the InfoSec stalwarts to handle the situation and promptly got the required action.
Soon, things were decently under control and my blog’s traffic returned back to normal.
