Have I told you how fleeting technology is? And how fleeting I am as well? 🙂
Technology grows and morphs into new things everyday and we have to adjust and adapt to it as quickly as we can else we risk ourselves being left behind. There was programming absoluteness in an earlier era that was ruling the tech world, and then along came cybersecurity, PMP, Agile, Azure, AWS, Cloud environments, DevSecOps, Privacy and more.
It is not to say that the earlier technologies were erased, it is just that the new technologies that came by, created more opportunities for growth and one had to learn it to progress faster in their career.
Today we are at the cusp yet another sea of tech change(or has the change already occurred?) and we are riding high on the AI wave. Whether the AI wave is hype or not, I can definitely see the changes related to it all around.
‘Artificial Intelligence’ is simulating human intelligence by machines to simplify many of our day-to-day tasks. The most common use of AI has to be the very popular chatting tool ‘ChatGPT’ that has been tried and tested by most of us. Apart from ChatGPT, we can also see AI in other areas such as writing tools such as Grammarly, chatbots, online graphic design tool like Canva and there are plenty of other places we can see it as well.
Artificial Intelligence is supposed to enhance and simplify our life further. The only catch may be that AI can also enhance the objectives of any bad threat actors too. In today’s age, it is a must to learn the ways of AI, Machine Learning and Deep Learning to at least learn the basic ways in which it is working.
There are plenty of crucial words related to AI, but these popular words of Mark Cuban, have stuck by me:
“Artificial Intelligence, deep learning, machine learning — whatever you’re doing if you don’t understand it — learn it. Because otherwise you’re going to be a dinosaur within 3 years.”

Join me as I write about AI touching different parts of life as well many AI terms and concepts.
Spot on about AI being everywhere! From my morning commute recommendations (thanks, Waze ) to the spooky accurate product suggestions on Amazon – it’s fascinating.
Very relevant topic. AI is definitely here to stay if not to rule us.
A very interesting introduction to AI. It’s true that what is possible today would have been unthinkable 20 years ago.
We all speak about the positive side. You touched on the bad actors. We may war-field technologies in that list. We saw a cruel war in Sri Lanka (It didn’t get much focus like Ukraine war or Gaza war. I think the severity of war depends on the colour!). They did not hesitate to use the barred weapons to kill the humans. What will be the effect of AI in war field technologies? Can they kill the human beings more accurately and cruelly?
The stuff I read in sci fi books then watched in movies ,silently hoping this wouldnt be good if it came true, has been all of a sudden thrust upon us. Hoping to learn more from your intelligent chatter.
